Oakland Ave. (in the former location of Jean Pierre’s Cafe), Thirst and Vine is a retail wine shop, wine bar and bistro offering wine tastings and classes, lunch and dinner, full bar service, and space for private parties, all in a warm and cozy updated space. Owned by John and Anne Nehring, Thirst and Vine is an exciting new business concept for Shorewood. Sample a variety of delicious wines while enjoying a tasty cheese and pate plate. Thirst and Vine is open Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Monday and Tuesday, Thirst and Vine is open for special tastings, wine classes and private parties.
